Place the Wardley Vacation Food shell in your aquarium prior to leaving for vacation. It will slowly dissolve, releasing small food particles impregnated throughout the shell. One shell feeds 10-12 average sized fish in a 10 to 15 gallon aquarium for up to 10 days depending on the pH and water temperature. For best result, the water temperature should be 72 degrees F (22 degrees C) or higher and pH within the range of 6.8 to 7.2. Note - Wardley Vacation Food will not dissolve properly in highly alkaline water. Upon your return, remove any uneaten portion of the shell and discard. Wardley Vacation Food must only be used in fish bowls or aquariums equipped with filtration and aeration, as the water must circulate for proper dissolving of shell.
