  2. Q. What fuels are available at GetGo?
    A.

    GetGo offers the highest quality fuels available including three grades of gasoline (unleaded, plus and premium) as well as diesel and kerosene. Select GetGo locations also offer eco-friendly biodiesel and E85 fuel for flexible fuel vehicles. Visit the store locator for the nearest GetGo location selling these fuels.

  3. Q. What are biodiesel and E85 fuels?
    A.

    Biodiesel is a cleaner burning alternative fuel made from domestic, renewable resources. It’s biodegradable, nontoxic and effectively free of sulfur and aromatics. Only vehicles with diesel engines can use biodiesel fuels.

    E85 is a blend of 15% unleaded gasoline and 85% ethanol and can only be used in flexible fuel vehicles (FFV). FFV can use several fuel types, including E85, conventional gasoline, or any blend of ethanol up to 85%.

  4. Q. How does GetGo ensure fuel quality?
    A.

    We purchase the highest quality fuel that meets or exceeds all applicable federal, state and auto manufacturer quality standards and regulatory requirements. In accordance with federal regulations, we add detergent cleansing agents to minimize engine deposits that can affect vehicle performance and emissions.

  5. Q. What is the GetGo Fuel Guarantee?
    A.

    We maintain and monitor our state-of-the-art equipment, storage tanks and fuel systems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to ensure that every fill up is filtered and free of contaminants such as water and sediment.  In fact, if your car develops a problem caused by our gasoline, we'll pay for your repair.*

    *Problem must be verified by an ASE A8 certified technician to receive full payment for repair.

  6. Q. Where does GetGo get its gas?
    A.

    We purchase our high quality fuels from major refineries and domestic suppliers based in Pennsylvania—the same ones used by major national fuel providers. Every grade of our gasoline comes from domestic refiners.

  8. Q. How can I pay for my gas at GetGo?
    A.

    We accept cash, the Giant Eagle fuelperks! credit card, Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover® and other major credit cards as well as Giant Eagle and GetGo gift cards. All of our stations offer pay-at-the-pump for added convenience.

  11. Q. How do I redeem my fuelperks! at the pump?
    A.

    Simply scan your Giant Eagle Advantage Card® at the pump before you begin to pump your gas. Your available fuelperks! discount will be displayed, and you can choose to redeem. Your fuelperks! discount will be applied to every gallon you pump up to a maximum of 30 gallons.

  13. Q. What foods does GetGo sell?
    A.

    Our GetGo locations offer many of the same delicious foods that you love from Giant Eagle, including freshly baked cookies, iced cupcakes and delicious Krispy Creme® donuts. Market District® coffee is available in a variety of blends to complement all of our baked goods.

    In addition, select locations also offer a GetGo Kitchen or Café providing fresh baked goods, hot subs, fresh fruit and produce, ready-made sandwiches and wraps, and other made-to-order food and beverages.

  17. Q. Is gas cheaper at GetGo than at other stations?
    A.

    We offer low prices on all grades of our fuel that are competitive with local stations. Plus we provide our customers who scan their Giant Eagle Advantage Card at the pump additional savings with fuelperks!

  18. Q. Why does Giant Eagle GetGo "hold" my funds if I use a debit or credit card at the pump?
    A.

    When gasoline is purchased with a PIN debit card, GetGo requests a "pre-authorization" before beginning the fueling process. This "pre-authorization" assures that GetGo will be paid for the fuel dispensed. The amount "pre-authorized" is the lower of the dollar limit set by the card issuer or up to $129. After fuel is dispensed, GetGo IMMEDIATELY sends a "completion transaction" notice to the card issuer. It is the responsibility of the debit card issuer to reverse the amount that was "pre-authorized" and deduct the actual amount for the fuel purchased as shown on the receipt.
