What is Giant Eagle® Pharmacy Rewards?

Pharmacy Rewards is an enrollment program available at Giant Eagle® stores in Pennsylvania that allows you to enjoy new, lower $4 pricing on more than 400 generic medications.

How do I enroll?
|
Visit your Giant Eagle Pharmacy® or fill out an enrollment form and take it to your Giant Eagle Pharmacy®. There is no fee for applying. Program members will receive a sticker to be affixed to their Giant Eagle Advantage Card®; for identification.

What if I don't have a Giant Eagle Advantage Card®?
|
You must have a Giant Eagle Advantage Card® to enroll in Pharmacy Rewards and receive the new, lower $4 prescription pricing.

What quantity is included in the $4 price?
|
The $4 price is for commonly prescribed dosages. If your physician prescribes a larger quantity, the price will reflect the larger quantity at an adjusted price.

I need a different quantity than what is covered for $4. How will my medication be priced?
|
The pricing list is set to automatically price at $4 for commonly prescribed dosages. The price will be adjusted for a larger quantity. Refer to the medication lookup page for specific quantities covered. Example: Digoxin is $4 for 30 tablets (a typical 30 day supply). If you require 60 tablets, you will pay $8.

Is the list of drugs going to change?
|
The list of drugs may change. Please visit GiantEagle.com periodically for updates to this plan. Giant Eagle® reserves the right to change pricing and products on the list at any time.

My prescription is called in but I have not picked it up yet. Can I get the $4 price?
|
Yes, because the prescription has not been picked up and paid for, you are eligible for the $4 prescription price upon enrollment into the Pharmacy Rewards program.

I picked up my prescription just prior to the start of this program. Can I get the $4 price?
|
If the prescription has already been picked up and paid for, you are not eligible for the $4 prescription price. However, you will be eligible upon your next refill of that prescription providing you are enrolled in the Pharmacy Rewards program.

How long is the $4 pricing going to last?
|
This is our new lower pricing on these generics. Giant Eagle® reserves the right to change pricing and products on the list at any time.

Is Pharmacy Rewards a form of insurance?
|
Giant Eagle Pharmacy® Rewards is not insurance and does not provide insurance coverage. It is, however, available to any Giant Eagle Advantage Card® holder regardless of prescription insurance coverage.

Are there other benefits included with Pharmacy Rewards?
|
Pharmacy Rewards members are also eligible for priority scheduling for flu shots and immunizations at participating locations (based on season and availability), free bone density, diabetes and cholesterol screenings, free blood pressure testing, and a free store tour focusing on nutritional counseling and food education.
