Apple Cinnamon Muffins

  3. 1/2 tsp. salt

  4. 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

  5. 1/4 tsp. baking soda

  6. 1 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN 2% Milkfat Low Fat Cottage Cheese

  7. 1 Granny Smith apple

  8. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  9. 1/4 cup oil

  10. 1 egg

  11. 1 tsp. vanilla

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN 2% Milkfat Low Fat Cottage Cheese
  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Recipe Directions:

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and baking soda; set aside. Mix remaining ingredients in medium bowl. Add flour mixture; stir just until moistened.Spoon into greased or paper-lined muffin pan, filling each cup 2/3 full.Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
