For food safety & quality, road and follow these cooking instructions to ensure that product reaches an internal temperature of 155 degrees F. Microwave Oven Cooking (Recommended): Directions developed using 1100 watt microwave oven. Ovens vary; cooking time may need to be adjusted. 1. Pull tear strip along carton edge and peel back carton top along perforations. Do not tear off the top of the carton. 2. Remove sub from the carton and remove plastic overwrap. Fold the carton top fully around bottom of carton, creating a platform. 3. Place sub halves on top of the platform and place in center of microwave. Cook on High 2 minutes and 45 seconds or until cheese is melted. Let stand 1 minute to complete cooking. 4. Carefully remove from microwave. Sub and tray will be very hot. Carefully fold sub halves together. Conventional Oven Cooking: Since ovens vary, cooking heat and times may require adjusting. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove sub from box and plastic overwrap. 2. Place sub halves on a baking sheet on center rack in oven. Cook 23 minutes. 3. Using potholders and both hands, carefully remove baking sheet with sub from oven. Carefully remove sub from baking sheet. Sub will be very hot. Carefully fold sub halves together. Do not prepare in toaster oven. Do not reuse microwave platform. Keep frozen until ready to use. Carton is not suitable for conventional or toaster oven use.
