Filling: Blackberries, Sugar, Water, Apples, Modified Food Starch, Corn Starch, Salt, Blackberry Juice Concentrate, Natural Flavor. Crust: Enriched Wheat Flour (Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Vegetable Shortening (Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil), Water, Dextrose, Salt.
Keep frozen. Baking: Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Remove plastic wrapper from pie. Make 3-4 holes near the center of top crust with fork (this helps to vent pie during baking). Cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil and place frozen pie on cookie sheet on center oven rack. Bake pie for 65-75 minutes or until golden brown. Remove pie from oven on cookie sheet and let cool. Never lift pie pan by the edges. Pie will slice and serve most easily when cooled at least 2 hours. Marie's Baking Tips: If edges of pie begin to brown excessively, cover edges with a strip of aluminum foil and continue baking. Our pies are filled with luscious, ripe fruit, some juices may bubble over while baking so be sure to cover your cookie sheet with aluminum foil. To give your pie crust an even more beautiful, flaky appearance, brush on a beaten egg before baking (avoid brushing the egg on the pattern around the pie's edge). Let pie thaw for 5 minutes at room temperature before making holes to avoid breakage of top crust. Keep frozen until ready to bake.
