Place frozen Kineret Challah on lightly greased baking pan or cookie sheet. Leave at room temperature 4-6 hours, until dough rises at about twice its frozen size. (Helpful Hint: To assist rising, cover loosely with either a lightly greased plastic wrap or aluminum foil, or with a cloth towel). Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Bake uncovered 30-40 minutes, until golden brown. For a shinier crust, brush lightly with beaten egg before baking. Sprinkle with poppy or sesame seeds, if desired. Quick Rising Method: Preheat oven to 150 degrees F. Turn off oven. Place bowl of hot water on lower rack. Place baking pan or cookie sheet with frozen dough on upper rack. Leave in oven 2-3 hours, until dough rises to about twice its frozen size. Remove dough and water from oven. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and bake as above. Product Must Be Kept Frozen: This product has active yeast. If product defrosts prior to preparation, the yeast will become inactive and dough may not rise properly. For best results, use within 30 days of purchase.
