LEED® designates that these Giant Eagle® locations were designed and built using strategies aimed at improving building performance across the following metrics: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, and stewardship of resources. Some of environmentally friendly features that are incorporated into our LEED sites include: daylighting, optimization of energy and refrigeration setpoints, low e glass, green power purchases, low-flow fixtures in restrooms, non-ozone depleting refrigerants in refrigeration systems, regional & recycled content materials sourcing, and site recycling programs.
