Delicious Bowls for Hearty Soups

Discover a new delicious way to serve your favorite soups with our fresh-baked bread bowls. Available in two varieties – Italian or Sourdough, both are perfect for chilis, stews or creamy soups.

Preparing your bread bowl

 
Step 1 1. Cut off 3" diameter from top of bread bowl.

Step 2 2. Use a pairing knife to cut inside the bowl, leaving the walls about 1" thick. Be careful not to cut through the bottom.

Step 3 3. Hollow out your bread bowl.

Step 3 4. Fill your bread bowl with your favorite chili or soup. Use a thicker soup, as thinner broths will cause the bread to get too soggy and fall apart.

Tip: Use the extra hollowed-out bread for dipping or make homemade croutons and serve on a salad as a side to your soup. To make croutons, cut the extra bread into squares, toss with olive oil, salt and pepper and toast in a preheated 375°F oven for 5-7 minutes.
