eOffers

With eOffers™, you'll save at the register on your favorite products at Giant Eagle®.

  • Simply clip the eOffers of your choice and they load directly to your Giant Eagle Advantage Card®. They work as digital coupons, allowing you to save on Giant Eagle® purchases at checkout.
  • To clip on an eOffer, simply click on the "Clip" button below it. The eOffer will save automatically to your Giant Eagle Advantage Card®.
  • To unclip an eOffer, just click on the "Clipped" button below the eOffer and it will automatically be removed from your Giant Eagle Advantage Card®.
  • Review your clipped eOffers online by clicking the "clipped" link. All clipped eOffers are stored directly on your Giant Eagle Advantage Card® so you don't need to print any coupons.

Main eOffers Screen

The eOffers screen contains the following areas

  1. eOffers interactive — This feature displays how eOffers work.
  2. Search box — Allows user to search for eOffers by key words.
  3. Filtering options — Main section showing filtering options for eOffers, including clipped/expired, brand, and category.
  4. Viewing options — Controls to change how eOffers display (number per page, and display sort).
  5. eOffers — Images, photos, descriptions, and clipping buttons of eOffers available.

Filtering eOffers by Brand or Category

To filter eOffers by brand or category

  1. Locate the Brand or Category desired for filtering in the left-hand column of the eOffers screen and click on the desired Brand or Category filter.
    Note: Click "More" or "Less" underneath each list to display more or fewer flters.)
  2. The list of eOffers displays sorted by the selected Brand or Category, and the selected filter displays in the left-hand column.
  3. To cancel the action, leaving the list unsorted, click the back button on the browser.
    1. The list displays unsorted.
  4. To remove the filter, click the red 'x' to the left of the filter or click the "Clear All" link under the filter.
    1. The filter is removed.

Sorting eOffers by Clipped eOffers

To sort eOffers by clipped eOffers

  1. Click the "Clipped" link in the left-hand column of the eOffers screen.
    1. The list displays tabbed, and sorted by clipped eOffers.
  2. To cancel the action, leaving the list unsorted, click the back button on the browser.
    1. The list displays unsorted.

Sorting eOffers by Expired eOffers

To sort eOffers by expired eOffers

  1. Click the "Expired" link in the left-hand column of the eOffers screen.
  2. The list displays tabbed, and sorted by expired eOffers.
  3. To cancel the action, leaving the list unsorted, click the back button on the browser.
  4. The list displays unsorted.
    Note: If no eOffers have expired, none will display.

Menu Planner

Plan mouth-watering meals or snacks anytime with Menu Planner.

  • Create daily or weekly menus from recipes, grocery items or your own creations.
  • Create multiple meals and plan meals in advance. Create your own meals for holidays, special occasions or everyday eating and snacking.
  • Add menus to your shopping list and pick up everything you need to create delicious meals at Giant Eagle®.

Main Menu Planner Screen

  1. Calendar — This control displays the current week and enables other days and weeks to be displayed.
  2. Day View — This section enables editing of the current daily menu displayed, including clearing the menu and returning to the Day View
  3. Create a Shopping List — Enables Shopping Lists to be created from Daily or Weekly menus.
  4. Daily/Weekly Controls — Enables the Week View to display, the Day display to be advanced or reversed by one day, and meals to be added to the current Menu Planner.
  5. Meals and Dishes — Displays meals, and the dishes within them, for the current Menu Planner. Dishes and meals can both be deleted from this portion of the screen.
  6. Meal Controls — Enables meal to be renamed, duplicated, or cleared, or a dish to be added to a meal.

Add a New Meal

To add a meal to a menu

  1. In the menu Planner, locate the date to add a new meal.
  2. Within that day view, click the "(+) Add a Meal" button in the center of the screen.
  3. A new meal, titled "New Meal" displays on the Menu Planner day view.

Add a Dish to a Meal

To add a dish to a meal

  1. In the Menu Planner screen, locate the date containing the meal to edit.
  2. Select the meal to add a dish to.
  3. Click the "(+) Add a Dish" link below the name of the meal.
  4. The "Add a Dish" window displays.
    1. To add a dish manually, type the name of the dish in the editable field and click the red "Save" button below the editable field.
    2. To cancel this action, click the "Cancel" button in the window.
  5. The dish displays on the menu planner under the designated meal.
  6. To add a dish from an item list, type the search term into the Add a Dish box.
    1. The search field displays items matching that term.
    2. To select an item, click on that item link within the list of terms.
    3. To cancel, click the "Cancel" button.
  7. Click "Save" to save the dish.
  8. The dish displays on the menu planner under the designated meal.

Rename a Meal

To rename a meal

  1. In the Menu Planner screen, select the meal to rename.
  2. Click the "(+) Rename Meal" link below the name of the meal.
    1. The "Edit Meal" window displays.
  3. Type a new meal name in the editable field.
  4. Click the red "Save" button below the field.
    1. The window closes.
    2. The meal displays in the Menu Planner with the new name.
  5. To cancel the action, leaving the name of the meal unchanged, click the "Cancel" button in the window.
    1. The window closes and the name of the meal is unchanged.

Delete a Dish

To delete a dish

  1. Click the red "x" button to the left of the dish.
    1. The "Delete this Dish" window displays.
  2. To delete the dish, click "Delete Dish."
    1. To cancel this action, leaving the dish on the menu, click "Cancel."
  3. The dish is removed from the menu.

Delete a Meal

To delete a meal

  1. Click the red "x" button to the left of the dish.
    1. The "Delete this Meal" window displays.
  2. To delete the meal, click "Delete Meal."
    1. To cancel this action, leaving the meal on the menu, click "Cancel."
  3. The meal is removed from the menu.

Menu Planner Week View Screen

The Menu Planner Week View screen contains the following areas

  1. Print/Close— These controls enable Week View to be printed and closed, respectively.
  2. Add a Meal— This control enables a meal to be added from Week View.
  3. Add Dish/Edit Meal— Add Dish enables a dish to be added to a meal. Edit Meal, when expanded, provides additional control over meals.
  4. Edit Meal Controls— These controls enable a meal to be renamed, duplicated or cleared.

Editing a Meal in Week View

To edit a meal in Week View

  1. In week view, select the meal you want to edit
  2. Click the "(+) Edit Meal" link below the name of the meal.
    1. The "Edit Meal" menu expands.
  3. Choose the action you want to perform. From here, all steps are the same as in the menu day view.

Shopping List

Planning your next grocery trips just got easier with Shopping List.

  • Create one or more shopping lists for your shopping convenience. You'll get a list created for you to start. From there, create your own customized lists, rename them, duplicate them, and more.
  • Build your shopping list with store item searches, recipes, menus — and items you add yourself.
  • Make custom shopping lists for routine trips or special occasions.
  • Save while you plan your shopping trip. eOffer items are marked when you search for store items. You can add items with eOffers savings to each shopping list and clip or unclip them within your lists.

Main Shopping List Screen

The Shopping List Screen contains the following areas

  1. Current List — This section displays the current list, and enables the user to perform the following actions on the list:
    • Print List
    • Rename List
    • Delete List
    • Create New List
  2. My Other Shopping Lists — This section displays other shopping lists created by the user and enables items to be moved between lists.
  3. List Sort — Enables lists to be sorted by Order, Name, Quantity, Recipe, or Category.
  4. Edit/Add Note — Enables creation or editing of notes for a List.
  5. Quick Add — Enables list items to be searched from UPC-level lists or self-selected items, and added to a List.
  6. Shopping List Body — Includes item names, quantities, and the ability to change quantities and move or delete items within each List.

Rename a Shopping List

To rename a Shopping List

  1. Click the name of the Shopping List to rename.
  2. Click the "Rename List" link in the left-hand column.
  3. The "Rename list" window displays.
  4. Type a new name for the selected list in the editable field, and click the "Rename" button.
    1. The window closes and the list displays with the new name.
  5. To cancel the action, leaving the original name of the list, click either the "Cancel" button or the "x" button.
    Note: Clicking the "Rename" button without entering a new name has no effect on the list name.
    1. The window closes, and the list displays with its name unchanged.

Delete a Shopping List

To delete a Shopping List

  1. Select the Shopping List to delete.
  2. Click the "Delete List" link in the left-hand column.
    1. The "Delete List" window displays.
  3. To delete the list, click the "Delete" button.
    1. The window closes.
    2. The list is deleted and another Shopping List becomes the default list.
  4. To cancel the action, leaving the list intact, click either the "Cancel" button or the "x" button.
    1. The window closes and the current list displays.

Create a New Shopping List

To create a new Shopping List

  1. Click the "Create New List" link in the left-hand column.
    1. The "Create New List" window displays.
  2. Type a name for the new list in the editable field within the window and click the "Create" button.
    Note: A name for the list must be entered.
    1. The window closes and the new Shopping List displays.
  3. To cancel the action without creating a new Shopping list, click either the "Cancel" button or the "x" button.
    1. The window closes
    2. The current list reappears.

Create or Edit a Shopping List Note

To edit the note on a Shopping List

  1. Choose a Shopping List to edit.
  2. Click the "Edit" button below the title of the list (and above the "Click edit to add a note..." phrase if no note has been added).
    1. The note field for the list displays.
  3. Type a new note into the editable field or edit the existing note, and click the "Save" button below the editable field.
    1. The field closes and the new note displays.
  4. To cancel the action, without changing the note, click the "Cancel" button.
    1. The field closes, and the note field contains the same text as it did previously.

Use the Quick Add Field to Build a Shopping List

To use the Quick Add field to build a Shopping List

  1. Select the Shopping List to build.
  2. Click in the "Quick Add" field and enter text.
  3. After typing three characters, the system searches for matching items from the database.
    1. If a match close to the entry is found, possible matches display in list format.
  4. To select one of the items from the menu, click on the desired item.
    1. The menu closes and the selected item is added to the Shopping List.
  5. To add an item to a Shopping List not found within the menu, type the word or words into the Quick Add field and click the "Add" button to the right of the search field.
    1. If no match is found for the text entered, no menu displays.
    2. To enter the item, click the "Add" button to the right of the search field.
  6. To cancel the search without adding any items to the Shopping List, delete all of the text from the "Quick Add" field.
    1. The menu closes and the Shopping List is unchanged.

Delete an Item from a Shopping List

To delete an item from a Shopping List

  1. Click the red "x" to the right of the item name on the list.
    1. The item is deleted from the Shopping List.

Edit Item Quantities in a Shopping List

To edit item quantities in a Shopping List

  1. Within a Shopping List, click the red "up" arrow located to the right of the quantity to increase its quantity.
    1. The quantity is increased.
  2. Click the red "down" arrow next to each quantity to decrease each item's quantity.
    1. The quantity is decreased.
    Note: If the quantity is 1, clicking the "down" arrow does not change the quantity. To change the quantity to 0, the item must be deleted.

Add eOffer Item to a Shopping List

To add an eOffer item to a Shopping List

  1. In the selected Shopping List, search for the item using the filtering search function.
  2. Items with eOffers display with an icon denoting them. Click on each desired item to add it to the Shopping List.

Clip and Unclip eOffer Items in a Shopping List

To clip eOffer Items in a Shopping List

  1. To view the details of an eOffer within a Shopping List, click on it.
    1. A window displaying source and savings information displays.
  2. To clip the eOffer, click on the Clip icon within the window.
    1. The eOffer clips and is saved to the account Giant Eagle Advantage Card®.
  3. To unclip the eOffer, click on the Unclip icon within the window.
    1. The eOffer unclips and is removed from the account Giant Eagle Advantage Card®.

Recipes

Choose from thousands of delicious dishes for every occasion with Recipes.

  • Add mouth-watering recipes to menus for daily meals or special occasions.
  • Add recipes to custom shopping lists.
  • Find the perfect recipe for every health need or occasion. Each recipe includes nutrition information, preparation time and number of servings.
  • Rate recipes you've tried and save your favorite recipes.

Main Recipes Screen

The Recipes screen contains the following areas

  1. Link to All Featured Recipes, upper left-hand corner — This link displays all the featured recipes available from Giant Eagle®.
  2. Search box — Allows user to search for recipes by key words.
  3. Featured Recipes with photos — Main section showing the first eight featured recipes with photos and links to those recipes. Click on each Recipe to display it.
  4. My Favorite Recipes — Links to recipes that have been saved. Click on links to view saved Recipes.
  5. Recently Viewed Recipes — Links to recipes that have been recently viewed. Click on links to display Favorite recipes

Search Recipes

To search within Recipes

  1. Enter the search term or terms into the window at the top of the Recipes screen.
  2. Click the red "Go" button.
  3. Search results related to the search term are displayed on the screen.
    1. To remove the search, click the back button on the browser.

Add Recipe Ingredients to a Shopping List

To add recipe ingredients to a Shopping List

  1. From the "Recipes" screen, search for the recipe to add to a Shopping List.
  2. Click on the name of the recipe to display the recipe detail page.
  3. On this page, click the "Add to Shopping List" link located below the recipe ratings.
    1. The "Add to Shopping List" box, containing links to each of the Shopping Lists created, displays.
  4. Click the name of the list to add the recipe to.
    1. The "Add to Shopping List" box closes.
    2. The ingredients are added to the selected Shopping List, and the current recipe details screen displays.
    3. The selected shopping list displays the ingredients from the recipe.
  5. To cancel the action without adding the recipe ingredients to a Shopping List, click the "x" button in the top right-hand corner of the "Add to Shopping List" box.
    1. The "Add to Shopping List" box closes.
    2. The Shopping List displays unchanged and the current recipe displays.

Add Recipe to a Menu

To add a recipe to a Menu

  1. From the Recipe Details screen, click on the "(+) Add to a Menu" link below the recipe photo.
  2. The Add to Menu window displays.
    1. A calendar displays with the current date and week highlighted and the current daily menu displayed.
    2. To select a different date, click on a different day in the calendar, or use the arrow keys to scroll through the months.
  3. Check off the meal to add the recipe to. The recipe can be added to more than one meal.
    1. To cancel this action, deselect a meal, by clicking on the checkbox to uncheck it.
  4. Click on the "Open Menu Planner" link below the calendar in the box to display the day's menu with the recipe added.
    1. The meal displays at the top of the list in the menu planner and the recipe displays within the meal.

Save Time and Money, at Home or on the Go

Add eOffers (digital coupons) to your Giant Eagle Advantage Card®, view fuelperks!® and foodperks! balances and account information, create shopping lists, get recipes and plan meals in a breeze. Your Giant Eagle® App account will sync to your GiantEagle.com account, so everything you need is at your fingertips — at home or on the go!

From Your Computer

  1. Click on the Available on the App Store icon on the Giant Eagle® Website, or go to itunes.com
  2. Allow your computer to "Launch Application" to take you to iTunes
  3. Once iTunes is open to the Giant Eagle® page, click on "Free App"
  4. Click on your Apps icon and the Giant Eagle® App will appear in your folder
  5. Connect your iPhone to your computer to sync the new App

From Your iPhone

  1. Open your App Store
  2. Search for Giant Eagle®
  3. Click on the Giant Eagle® App icon
  4. Click "Free"
  5. Click "Install"
  6. Sign in to your Giant Eagle® Account
  7. Click on any of the categories to get started!

eOffers for iPhone

eOffers for iPhone puts grocery savings at your fingertips.

Clip eOffers using your iPhone and the savings will automatically be added to your Giant Eagle Advantage Card®. You can redeem them at checkout and save big on your favorite grocery items.

  • Click on the "Clip" button of the eOffers of your choice to load them directly to your Giant Eagle Advantage Card®
  • To unclip an eOffer, just click on the "Clip" button again
  • View Clipped eOffers to see what coupons you can use on your next shopping trip
  • Search for offers by specific keywords, and Sort & Filter eOffers by Name, Relevance, Category or Brand. Just click Sort & Filter, and then check the category you wish to sort and filter by to see eOffers that are relevant to you

Shopping List for iPhone

With Shopping List for iPhone, you can stay organized while on the go.

Build Shopping Lists on the go using your iPhone and take them to any Giant Eagle® store. Create lists by adding recipes, meals, or individual products.

  • Add individual items to your Shopping List with the + icon
  • Create and save several Shopping Lists
  • View shopping lists by item Name, Category or Recipe
  • Add notes to your Shopping List for individualized reminders or requests

Recipes for iPhone

Get cooking inspiration at your fingertips with Recipes for iPhone.

Search and browse thousands of delectable recipes on your iPhone and find the perfect recipe to add to a Menu for your next meal or celebration. Or, add recipe ingredients to Shopping Lists and take them to the store.

  • Browse featured recipes or search for a specific ingredient or dish
  • Click on a recipe to read ingredients and directions
  • Click on + icon to add Recipe to Shopping List or Menu

Menu Planner for iPhone

Create meals anytime, anywhere with Menu Planner for iPhone.

Create daily or weekly menus using Meal Planner on your iPhone, and customize them with recipes or items from Giant Eagle® stores.

  • View your Menu Planner by Day, Week, or Month, or Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner
  • Click Add a Meal, to add a specific meal to your planner
  • Click Add a Dish to add a specific dish or search for and add Recipes
  • Click the + icon to add a menu item to your Shopping List

My Perks for iPhone

Check your perks on the go with My Perks for iPhone.

Use the Store Locator feature on the App to find a Giant Eagle® near you.

Digital Giant Eagle Advantage Card® for iPhone

Digital Giant Eagle Advantage Card®

Register your Giant Eagle Advantage Card® to your account via the application for a digital version of the card. Then just have a Giant Eagle® cashier scan the phone when you checkout.
