Keep frozen. Microwave: For proper food safety and quality, follow these cooking directions. Refrigerate leftovers promptly. 1) For microwaves with a metal rack, please remove rack. 2) Place frozen, unopened bag this side up in microwave. Do not pierce or thaw bag. 3) Microwave on High for 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 minutes (For food safety and best quality, cook one bag at a time to a temperature of 160 degrees F. Suggested microwave cook times are based on 1100 watt microwaves; additional cook time may apply when cooking in lower watt microwaves). During cooking, the bag will slowly inflate. A special vent in the bag will allow the steam to escape and a whistling sound may be heard. 4) Let stand for 1 minute after cooking. 5) Carefully handle bag at corners marked with red dots and remove from microwave with two hands. Hold bag over serving dish. Tear bag at notch. Pour, stir and enjoy! Stovetop: 1) Pour contents of bag and 1/2 cup water into skillet. 2) Bring to a boil over Medium-High heat. 3) Cook uncovered for 3-4 minutes (For food safety and best quality, cook one bag at a time to a temperature of 160 degrees F.) or until water is absorbed, stirring occasionally. 4) Remove from heat and let stand 2 minutes. 5) Serve and enjoy.
