World of Cheese: Irish

Cheddar is probably the most well-known Irish cheese. But there are others, and Giant Eagle® has them.

  • Dubliner: This cow's milk cheese tastes like a blend of farmhouse cheddar and Parmigiano Reggiano.
  • Blarney: A semi-soft, part-skim milk cheese, Blarney is smooth with a subtle, smoky flavor similar to Dutch Gouda.
  • Irish Cheddars:  The tangy flavor and sharp aroma pairs well with slices of Braeburn, Jonagold, Gala, and Fuji apples.

Serving Suggestions
