Sweet and Sour Kielbasa

  1. 8 slice Giant Eagle fully cooked bacon, cut up

  2. 1/2 cup onion, chopped

  3. 1-1/2 cup water

  4. 2 Tbsp. Giant Eagle spicy brown mustard

  5. 2 Tbsp. Valu Time molasses

  6. 1/2 tsp. ground allspice

  7. 1/4 cup Giant Eagle brown sugar

  8. 1 Tbsp. cornstarch

  9. 1 can Giant Eagle sauerkraut, drained (14 oz.)

  10. 1 sweet cooking apple, cored and chunked

  11. 1 lb. Giant Eagle cooked kielbasa, cut into 4" pieces

  12. 4 Giant Eagle bakery buns, sliced in half

  • 1/2 tsp. ground allspice

  • 1 can Giant Eagle sauerkraut, drained (14 oz.)
  • 1 sweet cooking apple, cored and chunked
  • 1 lb. Giant Eagle cooked kielbasa, cut into 4" pieces
  • 4 Giant Eagle bakery buns, sliced in half

Recipe Directions:

In a large skillet, over medium heat, sauté bacon and onions for 5 minutes until onions are tender and golden. In medium bowl, mix water, mustard, molasses, allspice, brown sugar and cornstarch until thoroughly combined. Add mixture to skillet with bacon and onions; simmer, stirring constantly for 5 minutes or until sauce thickens. Add sauerkraut, apple chunks and kielbasa, and cook over low to medium heat for 20 minutes. Place on bun and serve.
