Celebrate Women's History Month

Why We Celebrate

What began as a weeklong celebration in Santa Rosa, California in 1978, has grown to a month full of events and festivities in March where we celebrate the contributions women have made to American history.

This year’s Women’s Month theme is "I Am Woman, Hear me Roar: Celebrating Our Truth Through Stories." It is meant to be a tribute to female storytellers in print, television, music, films, social media, news and other outlets who have shaped how we explore the past, present and future of our world.

At Giant Eagle, we celebrate annually by hosting a series of inspiring and educational events for our Team Members that recognize women in the workplace. We invite you to celebrate alongside us.
