She is part of the team responsible for the validation of nutrition facts panels and health claims on Own Brand products, recipe nutrition analysis, and compliance with nutrition-related regulations. She received her BS in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh, and obtained her MBA at Chatham University. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, exercising with her dog and experimenting with recipes.
Nutrition Specialist for Giant Eagle.
Her role includes work to ensure the accuracy of Giant Eagle’s Own Brand nutrition facts panels, health claims, and marketing materials. Kristin received her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Pittsburgh and obtained her MS in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island. Her favorite things to do include trying out new recipes, playing games, and attending Zumba classes.
Food Safety Specialist for Giant Eagle.
He is on the team responsible for providing food safety training, coaching, and support to Giant Eagle stores and GetGo locations on Giant Eagle policies, procedures and regulations relating to food safety. He received his BS in Nutritional Science from Pennsylvania State University and obtained his Masters in Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh. In his free time, he enjoys running, hiking and building/refinishing reclaimed furniture.
Specialty Pharmacy Registered Dietitian for Giant Eagle.
She provides nutrition services to specialty pharmacy patients with complex disease states such as: Cancer, HIV, Crohn’s, Transplant, and Rheumatoid Arthritis among others. She facilitates counseling sessions telephonically to help patients with symptom/side effect management, create personalized diet plans, provide nutrition education on label reading, portions, and recommended foods for related disease states. She received her BS in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has a passion for health, wellness and fitness. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and various forms of exercise, especially yoga.
