Preheat your waffle iron.
To make the waffle batter: Melt the butter in a small pan. Bring the melted butter to a boil on low heat and add the chocolate chips and whisk until smooth.
Whisk together milk, eggs, sugar and salt, then whisk in the melted chocolate mixture.
Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder.
Whisk wet into dry.
Spoon waffle mix into the waffle iron and cook according to your waffle irons instructions.
To make the fudge sauce: Combine corn syrup, butter, cream, sugar and cocoa powder in a small pot. Bring to a boil, whisking occasionally. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Whisk until smooth.
Serve the waffles drizzled with the chocolate sauce and enjoy!
