Frightfully Fun Halloween Cookie Pizza

Compliments of HERSHEY'S Kitchens, this Halloween Cookie Pizza combines all Halloween favorites in one devilishly delish dessert!


    Ingredients for Cookie:
  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines® yellow cake mix
  • ¾ cup Giant Eagle quick oats
  • ¾ cup Giant Eagle butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 30 snack size candy bars of:
    • Reese’s®
    • HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate Bars (reserve 2 HERSHEY’S bars for spiders)
    • KIT KAT®
  • 2 cans Duncan Hines vanilla frosting, divided
  • Yellow and red food coloring (3 drops yellow, 2 drops red)
  • ½-1½ tsp. milk
  • ½ cup HERSHEY’S Chocolate Syrup
  • 16 oz. Giant Eagle Pretzel Sticks

  • Ingredients for “Spiders”
  • 2 reserved HERSHEY’S bars
  • Broken pretzels for the leg


  Prep Time: 25 min. • Cook Time: 20 min. • Cool Time: 45 min.

Heat oven to 350°F.

Chop a mixture of about 30 snack-size candy bars (Reese’s, HERSHEY’S, KIT KAT) to create about 4 cups of chopped candy.

Prepare cookies, mixing together cake mix, oats, butter, egg and 1 cup of chopped candy.

Spread in ungreased 12-inch pizza pan, up to ¼ inch from edge of pan.

Bake for 20 minutes; cool completely about 45 minutes

Spread about 1½ cans of canned vanilla frosting on top and sprinkle remaining 3 cups of chopped candy.

Mix ½ cup vanilla frosting (reserve a tiny bit for “spider” eyes), three drops yellow, two drops red food coloring and enough milk (you won’t need much) to make a drizzle. Drizzle over top of candy.

Drizzle chocolate syrup over top of orange drizzle.

Break apart or cut the two rounded sides of 4 small pretzels to make 8 "spider legs". Unwrap 1 snack size REESE'S Peanut Butter cup, place wide side down. Melt 1 snack size HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Bar in small microwave-safe bowl 30 seconds on MEDIUM (50%), stir until melted. Dip end of one pretzel piece at a time, into melted chocolate, lightly pressing into top side of peanut butter cup. Repeat this procedure eight times, four on each side for "spider legs". Using reserved 2 teaspoons vanilla frosting and toothpick tip, apply two small round circles on top front of peanut butter cup for "spider eyes".* Using clean toothpick, dip tip into small amount of melted chocolate and apply small dot to center of both "eyes". Allow to set. Repeat process for each "spider".
