Preheat oven to 450°F. Heat grill.
Over medium-high heat, warm the beans in a small pot on the stove. Grill the hot dogs until heated through.* Place buns in the oven for 1 minute to heat through.
Place the hot dogs inside the buns and then place on a sheet pan. Top each hot dog with the beans and shredded cheese. Place in the oven and bake until the cheese has melted. Serve with the mustard, onions, and bacon bits.
*For food safety, cook hot dogs to an internal temperature of 165°F.
