Watermelon Salad

For a refreshing summer salad, toss together fresh watermelon, onion, jalapeno, and a squirt of lime juice! You will be left with a light watermelon salad that has a bit of a kick!


  • 1 small seedless watermelon
  • ½ red onion
  • 1 pkg. (0.75 oz.) Nature’s Basket basil
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 2 limes
  • ¾ tsp. kosher salt

Remove the rind from the watermelon. Slice the watermelon into 1-inch slices and then cut into 1-inch sticks. Peel and thinly slice the red onion. Pick the basil leaves. Thinly slice the jalapeno. Juice the limes.

Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Gently toss everything together. Taste for seasoning and enjoy!
