Supporting Safe Communities

Giant Eagle is proud of our long-standing reputation for safety, and our commitment to serving our customers. With the safety of our Team Members and higher-risk guests in mind, our stores closely follow updated CDC guidelines, maintain additional sanitation measures and offer expanded no-contact grocery options.

We’ve implemented these protective measures

Face Coverings

Personal Protective Equipment

Effective 8/4/21, all Team Members are required to wear a face mask, cloth face covering or face shield. Taking this important step will allow us to best protect one another and our guests.

As of 8/6/21, we strongly request that our guests abide by the same mask requirement as our Team Members for the health and safety of everyone in our communities.

Team Members at our stores are able to provide a complimentary mask for any guest who does not have one.

Store Cleanliness

We’ve enlisted Team Members whose sole job is to sanitize surfaces, door handles, payment touch pads, and other high-touch areas.

Bag

Re-usable Bag Reduction

We’ve asked guests to please refrain from bringing reusable bags into stores. Purchases will be bagged in either single-use plastic or paper bags at no charge.
